The Council of the European Union has finally approved Ukraine’s comprehensive reform plan for the next four years, reads a statement on the EU website, Ednews informs.
According to the statement, the implementation of this plan will allow Ukraine to receive assistance in the amount of 50 billion euros until 2027 and will bring the country closer to joining the European Union.
In addition, the support program, which came into force on March 1, 2024, provides stable funding of up to 50 billion euros in the form of grants and loans for the recovery, reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine from 2024 to 2027.
The EU has already sent 6 billion euros in the form of bridge financing after Kyiv fulfills the agreed political conditions.
