The well-known Turkish politician Dogu Perinchek gave an interview to Eurasia Diary International Analytical Information Gateway. During the interview, he made interesting statements about the agenda of Turkey.
Eurasia Diary: Could you please shortly explain the differences before and after 15 June?
Dogu Perinchek: On the night of July 15, 2016, the activity of people whom the US infiltrated into Turkish Army and Turkish Police and their attempt to coup was crushed by Turkish people and Turkish Army. The supporters of FETO in the state have been cleared. After July 15, Turkish nation broke the chains of the United States. In big cities, millions of people went out into the streets and expressed their disagreements to the US Empire. On August 25, 2016, Turkish Army entered American corridor in north of Syria with the Operation of Firat Shield and fought against terrorist organizations.
Eurasia Diary: If coup had succeeded, how would the situation will be now?
Dogu Perinchek: If coup had succeeded, People’s Democratic Party and FETO government in connection with the US would be established in Turkey. The actions to fight PKK would be stopped and US control over Turkey will be restored.
Eurasia Diary: After the coup attempt, you have some meetings with Russian politicians. Both Turkish and Russian media paid much attention to your opinions. In your opinion, how Russia-Turkey relations are going now, taking into consideration the killing of Russian ambassador?
Dogu Perinchek: Turkey and Russia are engaged in strategic cooperation. They fight together against terrorist organizations in Syria. Economic relations between the two countries are reviving. Turkey and Russia confiscated the
Syrian problem and eliminated the United States. They took the solution center from Geneva to Astana.
Eurasia Dairy: There are various ideas about Turkey's Syrian policy, what are your opinions about it?
Dogu Perinchek: Turkey adapted its Syria policy to Russia and Iran, and has entered a phase of cooperation to provide Syria's territorial integrity and to clear the chauvinist and the separatist terror organizations-PKK.
Eurasia Diary: Who are the strategic allies of Turkey after the recent events and in which position the brother country Azerbaijan will stand?
Dogu Perinchek: Turkey's strategic partner is now Russia, and Iran, Iraq, Syria and China are also about to become strategic partners. Turkey's good relations with Russia, China and Iran provide a favorable environment for developing relations of fraternity between the Turkish republics of Asia.
Azerbaijan is our strategic ally, and most importantly is our brother. We are one nation, two states. Turkey's relations with Azerbaijan will develop in this framework.
Eurasia Diary: You were in trial known by everyone. What has changed from that day to today?
Dogu Perinchek: The aim of Ergenekon-Balyoz organizations is to disintegrate Turkey. For this reason, the commanders of the Turkish Army and the leaders of the Vatan Party were targeted. However, Turkey did not agree to be divided. We broke the walls of prisons. Thus, Turkey has entered a new era. FETO is cleared from within the state. The PKK was buried in vengeance. Turkey began a military march against the chauvinist and separatist terror outside the border. Turkey is turning to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and continues to hold the place in Eurasia.
