Saudi Arabia’s King Salman received the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan in Riyadh on Saturday.
Eurasia Diary reports citing to Aawsat, the crown prince conveyed the good wishes from UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and the pair discussed relations between the two countries.
UAE-Saudi relations, which are based on solid foundations of brotherhood, vision, attitudes and balanced attitudes towards the region and the world, are strong, he confirmed.
He also stressed the Kingdom's pivotal role in addressing threats facing the Arab world, expressing confidence that Saudi Arabia, with its wise leadership and the steadfastness of its people, will continue to play its role in safeguarding Arab interests and providing room for progress and development for the peoples of the region.
He also stressed that the wisdom and vision of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his courageous views serve as a safety valve for stability in Saudi Arabia and the region as a whole.
The meeting was also attended by Prince Khalid bin Fahad bin Khalid, as well as the Governor of Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and numerous other officials.
