A three-storey building containing a school collapsed in Nigeria's commercial capital of Lagos on Wednesday, an emergency agency spokesman said.
There was no immediate information on any casualties, Ibrahim Farinloye, spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency's southwest region, said.
"Apparently the top floor of the building was home to a primary school, raising fears that students were killed or trapped," said Channels, a local broadcaster.
Deadly building collapses occur frequently in Nigeria due to poor implementation of construction rules.
