Iran's embassy in Azerbaijan regards plagiarism and slogans of a group of Armenians living in Tehran during the visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Ararat club in Iran as arbitrariness, the Iranian embassy in Baku said in a statement.
"The Embassy of Iran declares that Iranian officials have not interfered with the private meeting in the Ararat club between the Prime Minister of Armenia and a group of Armenians living in Tehran, condemns it and regards poster and slogans raised in this meeting as arbitrariness," the statement said.
It is noted that in the first and difficult days of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan Iran has always been with Azerbaijan, with the Azerbaijani state and nation, supported the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and does not change its policy.
"We also think that the Karabakh conflict will be resolved on the basis of the principle of respect for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and through peace negotiations between the two sides. The friendship and brotherhood of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Republic of Azerbaijan is eternal and no provocation can undermine the will of the two peoples," the statement said.
