The former editor of Eurasia Diary was awarded international prize - PHOTOS

Pakistan is one of the countries which suffers from polioviruses. There are several challenges for solving this problem, one of the main cause is the military operations. These problems lead to massive increase polioviruses. Pakistan is among the only two countries including Afghanistan where Polio still exits.

Poliomyelitis, often called polio or infantile paralysis is an infectious disease caused by the poliovirus. In the mid-1990s Pakistan launched polio eradication campaign with the help of international funding.

Former editor of Eurasia Diary Malik Ayyub Sumbal initiated a documentary film "The Final Punch." He took several interviews by experts and visited places where people suffer from this virus.

Malik Ayyub Sumbal is originally from Pakistan and he is a political analyst, Anchor and award-winning journalists having more than 15 years of professional experience.

The documentary film has great importance for highlighting such a big problem of Pakistan.

The services of Malik Ayyub Sumbal were valued and he received International Micro Film Award.
