In a recent announcement, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) revealed that during an air attack on Israel on April 13, Iran launched a total of 87 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), all of which were intercepted by US forces.
Ednews, citing haber.turk, reports that Patrick Ryder, spokesperson for the Pentagon, addressed questions during the daily press conference regarding the incident.
According to information from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Ryder stated that a barrage of attacks was launched against Israel from Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. These included 110 medium-range ballistic missiles, 30 cruise missiles, and over 150 UAV assaults.
Ryder confirmed that the United States successfully intercepted 81 UAVs and at least 6 ballistic missiles, underscoring the effectiveness of US defense capabilities in thwarting the attack on Israel.
