The first chapter of the Novel Coronavirus is almost in the middle of its epilogue. The world prepares for the second part of the game – either with a new wave of virus or pressing the reset button for the refresh of the world. When the pandemic first declared in China, it was predicted the worst future for its economy as many experts thought it would take ages for China to resume itself after a heavy knock-out blows of the virus. However a well guarded China could easily wake up in the ring cheering its fans with support of financial aids to countries in Asia and Africa. Due to its miraculous power China could swiftly fix the pandemic problem and lifted quarantine regime earlier this month despite the reports of highest number of the infected people in the country until the decision was taken.
Covid-19 pandemic in many viewpoints is the fastest and the trickiest game in the world like in the waterpolo matches. And we are the spectators viewing the game just under the water through which all processes seem quite blurry to all of us.
“One of the strangest facts that we hardly believe to be true is the report of the death toll in countries,” says an American citizen, who thinks the coffins that they see on TV are just subliminal.
“We have no facts in hands but it is far beyond the truth as we never saw faces of Covid-19 victims. I never heard any of my relatives were found virus,” he added.
Thanks to the social media for its bottom line – ‘as much lies we are fed is as more we talk at the bottom of videos,’ said a group member of a social media to EDNews.net.
“Every day, we hear about only coronavirus and its murky statistics of victims. Few months ago we used to hear thousands of Syrian refugees and victims of war in Africa, Yemen with pictures of horrific corpses lying on the ground. I wonder what the man is like when infected to coronavirus though...”
The United States perhaps is the last performer that appears with more victims on the battle ground with the virus. However the Trump Administration gave its harsh message to the WHO about stopping the funding. This means America is through with redemption once the first level of the game is over for it.
End to playing further
Slowly, tentatively, a group of European countries started to join the trend of lifting constraints on daily life this week for the first time since the start of the coronavirus crisis. It apparently says the west is not much tolerant to further playing the game after China activated its cash machine and US suspended aids to the WHO. Now the West is providing an early litmus test of whether Western democracies can gingerly restart their economies and restore basic freedoms without reviving the spread of the disease.
The report said on Tuesday, Italy, the epicenter of Europe’s crisis, reopened some bookshops and children’s clothing stores. Spain allowed workers to return to factories and construction sites, despite a so called ‘daily death toll’ that remains over 500. Austria allowed thousands of hardware and home improvement stores to reopen, as long as workers and customers wore masks.
In Denmark, elementary schoolteachers prepared classrooms so young children could return to school on Wednesday, while in the Czech Republic, a restless public relished the reopening of sports centres and some shops.
Mirror effect in many practices
World is writing the second chapter of the COVID Game with a trend of swiftly lifting quarantine regimes, including all 210 countries throughout the globe. The icebreakers of this trend were the big players that have already raised white flags. It is the turn of subplayers that are planning to use the practice of the mirror effect in hierarchical order. Some experts say the coming month could be end of this game, where unless the existence of pandemic is not that beneficial at all. However there are countries that consider the pandemic is the best tool for holding control on power…
