"Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea do not pose a military threat to the Western world. It is the US and NATO pose a military threat to them," said Dennis Etler.
Earlier this week the US Secretary of State Department Antony Blinken had made a statement about one important issue regarding to Russia, China, Iran and North Korea in the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels.
He had said that these four nations are countries posing military threats to the western world. It seems that the Biden administration tries to re-target those four nations as like what previous administrations before Trump did.
Speaking to Eurasia Diary, Dennis Etler, American expert on international relations, made comments on the purpose of the US to re-target four nations.
He initially noted that both the Republicans and Democrats represent the imperial policy of the United States.
“It must be understood that both Republican and Democrat parties, and their various factions, from Bernie Sanders on the “left” to Donald Trump on the “right,” all represent US Monopoly/Financial Capital, and the Military-Industrial Complex. They all endorse a policy of US imperialist global hegemony and they all see the US as the exceptional, indispensable savior of the Western world,” Etler said.
“The four nations mentioned Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea do not pose a military threat to the US and its NATO underlings. On the contrary, the US and NATO pose a military threat to them. It is a standard of Hitlerism operating procedure for aggressors to accuse their victims of aggression. That way they hope to deceive the public and rally it around their war-mongering,” he added.
American expert explained why the US finds it necessary to threaten four nations.
“It's simply that they are the most powerful nations that challenge America’s self-described “rules-based international order” that underpins its dominant position in the world,” he said.
Touching upon the serious resistance against the threats posed by the US, Etler stressed that the four nations - Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea must remain strong and support each other in the face of US and NATO provocation. For his opinion, the only United Front they can create thwart their adversaries' plans.
He also pointed out that the US thinks it can bully its NATO allies into backing its aggressive stance against four Asian countries.
“The members of NATO and other vacillating members of the Western alliance such as Japan and South Korea have too many economic stakes in the game to burn their bridges. While they will pay lip service to Washington they will be hesitant to fully endorse its new Cold War mentality,” he noted.
Moreover, Etler argued that the members of NATO must fear is not any military threat from China or the others, but the loss of opportunities essential for their own economic recovery.
By the way, he underscored that Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea together have strength and power to resist the Western hegemony.
“China is the economic nexus of the four. Russia with its nuclear arsenal is the muscle. Iran has the potential to play a more dominant role in the Middle East and North Korea is a wildcard that adds spice to the mix. Together they represent a force that the West has to deal with. None of them are pushovers,” he said.
For him, the West is economically, socially, and politically on the ropes.
“All they have left is their military strength which is matched by that of Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea combined. The US still thinks it can get its way by bluff and bluster. If they push the envelope too far they will have to pay the price,” he added.
Furthermore, Etler touched upon the policy of the Biden administration for the recent situation with North Korea.
According to him, Biden and his crew of blowhards have no idea how to deal with North Korea.
“The North Koreans will have nothing to do with the Biden regime until it steps down from its high horse and agrees to substantive negotiations. By antagonizing both China and Russia the Biden team has foreclosed any diplomatic initiatives. They will try to ignore the situation and put it on the back burner for the foreseeable future,” he added.
