Russia is in panic Yesterday Karabakh, tomorrow Donbas

The following statement was made in the Russian media yesterday: “Yesterday was Karabakh, tomorrow will be Donbas. Ukraine is already helping the Turks develop new attack drones. This drone is called Bayraktar Akinci and will be used in the Donbas”.

These statements show that Russia is already in a state of extreme anxiety and is beginning to understand the fate that awaits them. The Russian press talked extensively about the latest achievements in the Turkish defence industry, focusing on the glorious victory ahead. In this regard, Turkey said that the drones have surprised the world.

It is no secret that Azerbaijan is also closely involved in the special training of the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 PUA.

Denis Fedutinov, editor-in-chief of a Russian military magazine, said that Bayraktar had gained a great reputation and its capabilities had surpassed many weapons of mass destruction.

"The most important thing is that Bayraktar is already carrying a heavier and scarier device called Akinci," he said.

Now let's talk a little about the features of the Bayraktar Akinci, which has become a nightmare for the Russians.

With its 20-meter-long wings, Bayraktar Akinci unmanned aerial vehicle can fly at an altitude of 12,200 meters and has a maximum weight capacity of 4,500 kg at takeoff. These types of drones can fly 24 hours nonstop. In addition, Bayraktar Akinci, which cruieses in the air at an average speed of 240 km per hour, can fly to the target point at a maximum speed of 360 km per hour. The maximum combat load of the racer is actually 1350 kg. It has an internal and external suspension system, each weighing 450 to 900 kg.

With the advantage of Bayraktar Akinci in terms of flight characteristics and size, it differs significantly from its predecessor Bayraktar TB2. NATO military experts now acknowledge that the BAyraktar Akinci is about the same size as the MQ-9 Reaper used in American reconnaissance and even superior to American aircraft in terms of maximum flight weight.

As for Russian military experts, they said that the most important and interesting part of Bayraktar Akinci was its engine equipped with two AI-450T turbo devices. Weighing between 1,500 and 4,000 kg, these engines are originally designed for light helicopters and aircraft, but can also be used as turbines for half and full power plants.

What countermeasures will Russia take?

It is said that a pair of engines cost about $ 660,000 and continued to be produced rapidly.

Speaking to EdNews.net, Azerbaijani military journalist Sakhavat Mammadov spoke about what Russia thinks about it and what measures it will take in the face of this competition, which it considers a threat.

"In fact, Russia's arms industry suffered a serious blow in the Second Karabakh war. I would even say that it lost its reputation. Obviously, Russian experts also observed this and took steps to protect themselves from this danger. Taking into account the consequences, the Russians invented and tested some weapons to protect themselves from anti-aircraft missiles. From this point of view, I think that in the war in Ukraine, Russia will not face surprises in Karabakh. This suggests that the war in Ukraine will not be easy. Because Russia already knows what it will face. "

The journalist also commented on Turkey's exchange of weapons with Ukraine and Russia's reaction there.

"The Second Karabakh War brought innovations to the concept of war in the world. The 44-day war forced even the world's most powerful armies to reconsider their arsenals. During the war, Turkish-made UAVs proved to be a good thing in the true sense of the word. It was as if a large-scale PR of Turkish weapons had been organized. It is no coincidence that as soon as the war ended, Ukraine ordered Turkish-made UAVs. However, this does not mean that Turkey is barely cooperating with Ukraine against Russia. I would say that today Turkey is rather interested in selling more weapons to Ukraine. In addition, Turkey has always had close relations with Ukraine. Along with relations, Ukraine is a very large market for Turkey. Although Turkey's desire to take advantage of this opportunity irritates Russia, Turkey will not miss this market. This time Russian arms industry will face Turkish UAVs. The main issue here will be the steps taken by the Ukrainian side. For this, serious trainings must be held, and it is important to attract Turkish specialists to Ukraine. We witnessed this in the Second Karabakh war. From this point of view, getting a UAV cannot be considered as all jobs done. ”

The military journalist also said that military operations on the Donbas are imminent in the near future.

"It seems difficult to start operations in Crimea," he said. Because Russia sees it as its own territory, although it is not accepted by the world. However, operations on the Donbas are possible, and may even begin soon. Separatism reigns in the Donbas, and Ukraine has the right to start military operations there. Of course, this will not be easy. The Ukrainian army could be hit harder if it relies solely on UAVs. Therefore, the Ukrainian army must be fully prepared. In addition, Ukrainian experts must seriously analyze the Karabakh war. Because Armenians fought with Russian weapons in Karabakh, but this will not be the case in Donbas and Crimea. Ukraine will face Russia directly. The balance of power here is in Russia's favour on paper. I think Ukraine should get military support from the West. For some reason, the West seems to have left Ukraine alone with Russia.
