What Russia is thinking of the nuclear weapon?
Could the world become a nuclear arsenal?
These questions are currently being discussed at all panels against the backdrop of the Ukraine-Russia war. Because the world is facing a relentless nuclear threat.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Human Rights Council, warned that the prospect of nuclear war was "imminent". Despite this, Putin, who stated that he is ready to launch a nuclear attack at any moment, said that he was not enthusiastic about this decision.
According to him, nuclear weapons are a deterrent against Western intervention in the Kremlin's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. However, the head of the Kremlin repeatedly added that the threat of nuclear war is "very close".
During Putin's speech, when one of the participants asked him to stop the nuclear attack, he said:
"You're right about the threat of nuclear war, but it's becoming more and more inevitable."
In fact, Vladimir Putin is trying to keep everyone in excitement by giving both "yes" and "no" answers to the question that everyone is thinking about. He's also trying to put some kind of spin on Russia's mind.
Thus, it cannot be excluded that Russia will not use nuclear weapons in any case. Because although Putin said that Russia's nuclear doctrine is based on the concept of "warning", he also stressed that he would resort to nuclear weapons in response to a conventional armed attack on his country or a nuclear attack that threatens the "existence" of the state.
A reason that can make Russia to resort nuclear weapon
In fact, Russia's situation is similar to the moment when a wounded prey is surrounded by predators in the jungle. Putin, in particular, is not at all happy with his situation. This leaves him no chance to step back. The only way out is to step forward to the end. Now Russia is more driven by the continued support of the West, especially Great Britain, than the armed pressures of Ukraine. For this reason, during the war, Putin repeatedly mentioned his readiness to use these weapons and said that Russia is ready to use "all possible means" if necessary to protect its territory. He even rejected criticism of Great Britain regarding the sheathing of the nuclear sword bu hinting to the former Prime Minister Liz Truss, the leader of the Conservative Party.
Analytically, whether or not Russia will use nuclear weapons can be characterized in another way: Has Russia used chemical and phosphorus-type missile weapons in the presence of civilians in Syria?
Did Russia use cluster missiles against civilians in the Second Karabakh War? Has Russia finally attacked Ukraine after long polemics? As for the answers, one can clearly imagine the future scenario.
Thus, the results show that the concept of a red line for Russia does no longer exist.
