With the organisation of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) a group of Lithuanian journalists had a visit to the liberated territories on March 15. According to Eurasia Diary, there were well-known journalists in the group, including a well-known military journalist Richardas Lapaitis, who was awarded the 'Order of Friendship' of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Arunas Sartanavichius and Mantas Bartasavichius.
Lithuanian journalists, accompanied by IEPF President Umud Mirzayev, met with the head of the Executive Power Mustaqim Mammadov during his visit to Tartar region. The chief executive informed the guests about the district, the destroyed, looted and restored buildings. They got acquainted with a photo and a stand depicting the infrastructure damaged in the Great Patriotic War.
Then the journalists went to the liberated villages of Sugovushan and Chayli. They got acquainted with the cleaning work carried out to restore the infrastructure in Sugovushan village.

Lithuanian journalists, accompanied by representatives of the IEPF staff, got acquainted with the mine-contaminated areas and demining operations in Sugovushan. Several meetings were held with local residents around Sugovushan Lake.

Later on, Lithuanian journalists visited the "Maraga 150" monument in Tartar. They were informed about the resettlement of Armenians to Nagorno-Karabakh.

In Gapanli village, Richardas Lapaitis presented a computer sent by a Canadian citizen of Azerbaijani origin, to Sevda Guliyeva, a resident of the village.
Then the guests visited the IEPF Regional Office in Tartar.

Journalists interviewed individuals, who have been in Armenian captivity and listened to their stories about living in captivity. Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, who have been in Armenian captivity for a long time, were interviewed as well.
Besides that, a meeting with schoolchildren was held in Margushavan. We talked to a woman named Ayshana, who saw the tragedy of the war.
It should be noted that the Lithuanian guests will visit Agdam, Fizuli, Jabrayil and Gubadli regions after Tartar during the visit organised by the IEPF. They will have the opportunity to meet with IDPs and directly observe the process of finding and clearing mines laid by the Armenian army.
In addition, the journalists will visit the destroyed villages, historical monuments, including the historical monument "Imarat" in Agdam, the destroyed Alley of Martyrs and cemeteries, Shahbulag Fortress.
