Considering the movement of Russian troops not far from the border with Ukraine and the breaches of agreements on the ceasefire in Donbas, which became more frequent lately, NATO warns Moscow to abstain from any further escalation of the situation. Oana Lungescu, press secretary of the Alliance said so in her interview for Die Welt.
"NATO will continue to keep supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. We stay vigil and keep watching the situation very closely", the NATO representative said.
She added that Russia's destabilizing actions undermine all efforts to calm down the tensions in this region.
