Ukrainian intelligence units made a landing on the territory of the Crimea, which was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014, as part of a special operation on the morning of 24 August, Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, told in an interview with hromadske, Ednews reports citing "Ukrainska Pravda".
"The landing of personnel took place on the territory of the peninsula as part of the special operation. The Main Directorate of Intelligence in cooperation with the Navy conducted a special operation, the goal was achieved, there were no losses among the personnel. The special operation continues, we do not disclose all the details, there are losses among the enemy personnel, as well as among the forces and means. The information on the number of losses is being clarified," says the source.
