Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a Telegram post on Thursday that Hamas launched rockets from within humanitarian zones toward their territory.
Ednews reports via Times of Israel that, Hamas militants fired 12 rockets at Israeli civilians yesterday from near the tents of Gaza evacuees in Rafah in southern Gaza and near United Nations facilities.
IDF reiterated once again that Hamas is using civilians as a human shield, emphasizing that the militant group "cynically embeds itself in civilian infrastructure, schools, residential areas, near United Nations facilities and even in humanitarian zones."
