Gordon Black, a United States soldier arrested in Vladivostok on theft charges has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison, Ednews informs via TASS.
"The punishment is three years and nine months in prison with serving the sentence in a general regime penal colony. The term of punishment is calculated from the moment the sentence enters into force," the court in Vladivostok ruled. Black has also been found guilty of issuing death threats.
Black's defense attorney, Inga Kirichenko, said that she aims to lodge an appeal.
