The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed on Wednesday to have hit three allegedly Hezbollah-owned sites including one in Janta, a central area of Lebanon, far from the regular targets in the southern border.
Operations also took place in Baraachit and Kfarkela in southern Lebanon. In the latter, IDF fighter jets attacked a weapons depot.
Reports have indicated that thousands of Israelis and Lebanese have been compelled to evacuate from areas near the border between the two countries.
