Starting today, the world-renowned travel club NomadMania has launched its latest expedition to the Karabakh region, marking a significant step in promoting the tourism potential of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories on an international level.
According to EDnews’s correspondent dispatched to the region, the aircraft carrying the group of travelers has already landed at Fuzuli International Airport, where the guests received a warm welcome.
The organizers provided the visitors with detailed information about the airport, noting that after the liberation of Fuzuli from occupation, the area was swiftly cleared of landmines and unexploded ordnance. In a short period, a modern international-standard airport was constructed from scratch.
This marks the 13th visit by international travelers to the liberated areas, and during this trip, prominent explorers from 30 different countries will tour Shusha, Khankendi, and Aghdam, gaining firsthand insight into the region’s rich cultural and historical heritage. The initiative also aims to contribute to the broader efforts of Karabakh’s reconstruction and reintegration into the global tourism and cultural landscape.
