Kyrgyz-Korean business forum taking place in Bishkek

The Kyrgyz-Korean B2B business forum is taking place in Bishkek on July 18, the Chamber of Commerce reports.

Among participants are 35 Korean companies specialized in production of construction materials, beauty products, pharmaceutical products, food products and etc.

According to the Chamber of Commerce, the trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan and South Korea in 2018 amounted to more than $30 million.

To date, the countries plan to boost investment ties and bring the volume of trade from export and import up to $100 million.

South Korea is one of the leading countries on economic indicators, which has a huge potential in the industrial and technical sphere, the report says.
