Russia’s Gazprom (GAZP.MM), the world’s largest gas producer, said on Thursday it was selling 3.6% of its shares in a second such offering this year, Eurasia Diary reports citing Reuters.
The company said one of its subsidiaries would sell 850.6 million ordinary shares in Gazprom at a secondary public offering in Moscow.
The books will open at 1000 Moscow time (0700 GMT) on Thursday and close at 1700 local time the same day, Gazprom said in a statement.
The stake is worth about 211 billion roubles ($3.3 billion) based on Wednesday’s close of 248 roubles per share.
In July, Gazprom raised about $2.20 billion from selling a 2.9% stake at a large discount to the market price.
