Following a conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that some flights between the two countries would be resumed on July 1. He wrote about it on his Twitter page, EDNews.net reports citing 112 International.
"From July 1, some flights between Turkey and Ukraine will be resumed. I agree with Recep Tayyip Erdogan that this will give impetus to the resumption of the tourism industry. Thank you for your humanitarian assistance. We are deepening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Turkey in all areas of common interest,” he stated.
As we reported earlier, yesterday, on June 25, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with the head of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during the course of which the heads of state agreed to take additional measures to finalize the Free Trade Agreement.
"The heads of state agreed to take additional measures to finalize negotiations on the conclusion of a free trade agreement, as well as strengthen the work of a number of sectoral bilateral mechanisms," the statement said.
