In January-July of this year, more than 10%, i.e. with 2 bln. cubic metres increase in comparison to the related period of the previous year, 22,3 bln. cubic metres of gas was produced, Ministry of Energy told EDNews.net reports citing APA.

7 bln. cubic metres of gas production was produced from Azeri Chirag Gunashli, while 11 bln. cubic metres from Shah Deniz. 4.3 bln cubic metres of gas over SOCAR was produced in this period.

Gas sale to abroad in this period, made up 7,7 bln. cubic metres, which is 16,7% more in comparison to the related period of the previous year. In January-July of the current year, 24% more i. e. 6,3 bln. cubic metres of gas were exported in comparison to the related period of 2019. The volume of gas exported to Georgia was 1,4 bln. cubic metres. Note that 2,4 bln. cubic metres of gas was transported to Turkey via TANAP in this period.

From June 30 of 2018 until August 1 2020, nearly 6,3 bln. cubic metres of gas was transported to Turkey via TANAP.

 From commissioning of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and “Shah Deniz” fields until August 1, a total of 543,3 million tons of oil (including condensate) have been produced and 542,7 million tons of oil (including condensate) have been transported for export.

During that period, 172 billion cubic meters of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields, and 127,8 billion cubic meters of gas – from Shah Deniz field. From commissioning of Shah Deniz field until August 1, 84,7 billion cubic meters of gas were transported for export.

Meanwhile, the countrywide oil processing made up 3,5 million tons in the past 7 months of 2020. The oil processing has decreased by 144 thousand tons compared to relevant period of the last year.
