EDnews informs According to Alakbarli, Western Azerbaijanis have created a great cultural heritage in the territory of present-day Armenia:
"This heritage belongs not only to Muslims but is also the cultural heritage of the world. We inform the world community about this cultural heritage, demand its restoration, and want to prevent its destruction. We would like ICESCO to also contribute to the protection of monuments in Western Azerbaijan. We have also appealed to UNESCO regarding this. However, unfortunately, Armenia has not allowed monitoring of Western Azerbaijani monuments in its territory."
