Deputy Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Idris Isayev participated in the Hungarian-Turkish Summit on Culture, Higher Education and Innovation held in Budapest, Hungary.
The ministry told EDnews that the Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary Balazs Hanko made an opening speech at the event. The minister provided information about the country's higher education system and touched upon potential cooperation issues with Hungarian universities.
Within the framework of the summit, Deputy Minister Idris Isayev spoke at a panel on education entitled "The Power of Regional Cooperation - Close Cooperation between Turkic States and Hungary". During his speech, the Deputy Minister provided information about the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan, Hungary and the Organization of Turkic States in the field of science and education and made proposals for future development prospects.
Idris Isayev also emphasized that the Republic of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to strategic partnership in the field of science and the importance of establishing joint programs, research groups and information exchange systems in these areas with Turkic states and Hungary.At the end of the event, a declaration was signed on "Cooperation between Turkic states and Hungary in the fields of higher education, innovation and culture."
