A telephone conversation took place between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
EDnews was informed about this by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
It was reported that during the telephone conversation, the dangerous situation in the region as a result of the Israeli-Iranian conflict, issues arising from the allied relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as preparations for the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled to be held in Istanbul on June 21-22, were discussed.
