Pop star Britney Spears is set to get her own show on Broadway in New York.
The “Toxic” singer will see her songs featured in the play, titled Once Upon A One More Time, which follows a book club attended by fairytale princesses.
It will debut in Chicago this October, before heading to Broadway in New York.
“I’m so excited to have a musical with my songs—especially one that takes place in such a magical world filled with characters that I grew up on, who I love and adore,” said Spears, according to the Guardian.
“This is a dream come true for me!”
A press release on Spears’ website reads: “Set to the songs of Britney Spears, the Princess of Pop herself, ONCE UPON A ONE MORE TIME is an uproarious, irreverent look at the towering challenges, charms, and choices involved in finding that most elusive of endings: Happily Ever After.”
The announcement of Once Upon A One More Time comes after Spears was forced to cancel her Las Vegas residency called “Domination” in January.
The pop star said in the post that she didn’t even know “where to start” and that writing the statement was “so tough.”
“I will not be performing my new show Domination,” Spears wrote.
“We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time.
“I hope you all understand,” she said, before advising fans who had booked tickets to the show to visit her official website for information about refunds.
