Eminem was reportedly questioned by the US Secret Service over "threatening lyrics" towards Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, Eurasia Diary reports citing Daily Star.

Records obtained by Buzzfeed News show that the US rapper was visited by agents over his 2017 song Framed.

The track sees Eminem, real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III, question why the President's daughter was in the boot of his car.

He asked why the "dumb little blonde girl" was "dumped in the pond".

The case was said to have not been taken any further after Eminem, 47, was interviewed.

The records show the case was opened by "a concerned citizen" who reported the song to the agency.

This was actually a reporter from publication asking for comment over the track's content.

The email from the reporter asked: "I want to know if your agency is investigating Eminem for his threatening lyrics about First Daughter Ivanka Trump?"

It was then that the Secret Service started looking into the background of the rapper.

Agents contacted Eminem, also known as Slim Shady, through his lawyers in late 2017 and the interview took place in January 2018.

During the interview, the agents reportedly also referred to lyrics from an anti-Trump freestyle Eminem performed for an awards show.

The documents read: "Mathers was familiar the song and began rapping along with the interviewers as the verse was read."

The interview came two days later at a Secret Service meeting, the documents say, "and it was determined that this case will be NON-REFERRED" to a federal prosecutor.

The reports come amid a baffling conspiracy theory that Eminem is 'cloned'.

Some people think the Lose Yourself star died years ago and has been replaced by an android.
