In a recent statement, Peter Tase, the General Director and Founder of the Azerbaijan-US Economic and Education Council, and representative of İEPF in the USA, commended the Republic of Azerbaijan for its exemplary democratic institutions following the presidential elections held on February 7th.

Tase emphasized the high level of democratic practices and transparent electoral processes demonstrated during the elections, attributing the landslide victory to the admirable leadership and statecraft of President Ilham Aliyev. He underscored Azerbaijan's compliance with international laws and democratic norms, noting the country's commitment to fostering democratic values over the last three decades.

The statement highlighted President Aliyev's decade-long accomplishments and expressed optimism about future developments in public policy. Tase credited Azerbaijan's government for transforming the nation into the most sophisticated democracy within the former Soviet Union bloc, showcasing sustained efforts in strengthening democratic institutions over the past 30 years.

Furthermore, the announcement acknowledged Azerbaijan's economic policies and dynamic foreign relations, which contributed to the liberation of formerly occupied lands by the Armed Forces of Armenia. Tase noted that Azerbaijan, in collaboration with its armed forces, played a pivotal role in achieving peace and stability in the Southern Caucasus while actively promoting economic development and renewable energy projects across Europe and Asia.

The statement concluded by highlighting the Republic of Azerbaijan's significant strides toward democracy, economic progress, and regional stability under President Ilham Aliyev's leadership.
