On April 21 at 08:31, an earthquake measuring 4.0 in magnitude and 17 km in depth was recorded 6 km east of the Sheki station, on the Sheki–Oghuz border.

EDnews reports that this information was provided by the Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
