Israeli forces detained at least eight Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on predawn Sunday.
According to Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained two Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem. They were identified as Rani Hani Bisharat and Mahmoud Adel Zboun.
In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, two Palestinians were detained and identified as Ahmad Iyad al-Rahbi and Mahdi Jaber.
In the northern West Bank district of Nablus, four Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces. PPS identified them as Salame Marwan Abed al-Jawad, Muhammad Zaki Ebdah, Jamil salah al-Din al-Aqraa, and Baraa Kamal Hashash.
Israeli raids into Palestinian towns and villages are near daily occurrence in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,554 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
