Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with Iraqi primier Adil Abdul Mahdi in Iraq's capital Baghdad.
The closed door meeting was held at the Republican Palace, with the attendance of delegations from both sides, Eurasia Diary reports citing Anadolu Agency.
"In Baghdad to discuss our relations w/brotherly Iraq and regional developments," Cavusoglu poset on his Twitter account after the meeting.
The meeting occured after the high escalation of the tension between Iran and US followed with death US soldier, then killing of Iranian general and missile strike at US airbase in Iraq.
