Uzbekistan has dispatched the second plane with humanitarian aid to China to support the efforts of the Chinese authorities to restrain coronavirus, Eurasia Diary reports citing AKIpress.
The first plane with humanitarian aid was dispatched on February 12 as ordered by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kun.uz reported.
The Defense Ministry of Uzbekistan provided a freight aircraft to airlift aid.
The aid included sterile disposable medical gloves, protective coveralls, face masks with filters, medical masks.
According to the National Health Commission of China, 80,151 coronavirus cases were confirmed in the country. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases exceeded 90,800 in the world. The death toll from virus complications reached 3,116.
