In an interview with 1in.am, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded to the reproach of former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who had previously accused the head of the Armenian government of refusing to use the Iskander tactical missile system during the war with Azerbaijan, Eurasia Diary reports citing Azeri Daily.
N. Pashinyan stated that Armenia had used the Iskander operational-tactical missile system, but the missile did not explode.
'Let him ask the question, why didn't the Iskander missile explode? Or why did it explode by 10%, for example?' said the Armenian PM.
Nikol Pashinyan also denied Sargsyan's words, who claimed that after the Velvet Revolution, the arms procurement program had underwent changes. That was the reason for Armenia's defeat in the war. Recall that in his statement, Serzh Sargsyan stated that he was going to buy 2,500 drones if he remained the leader of the country.
Nikol Pashinyan also commented on Serzh Sargsyan's statement that he transferred power not to Pashinyan, but to Karen Karapetyan: 'How could this rejected one transfer or not transfer power to someone?'
