'We are back on the liberated lands. We are heading from Fuzuli to the liberated Khojavand district,' Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during his trip to Fuzuli, Eurasia Diary reports citing Azeri Daily.
The head of state said: 'We are once again witnessing the destruction of all settlements along the road. All villages and towns are completely destroyed. And this destruction took place after the war. There was no such destruction during the First Karabakh War and could not have happened. It was during the occupation that the hated enemy turned our cities into such a state. This is the city of Fuzuli. But not a trace remained of the city. There is no city, it is destroyed. The Armenians destroyed it. They came as thieves during the occupation, demolished our buildings, took away stones and roofs. Like thieves, like robbers. These are the remains of the city of Fuzuli. Let the foreign circles defending Armenia open their eyes today and look at their cruelty. Whom are they protecting?'
'The enemy who occupied our lands for thirty years left no stone unturned. Look at the condition of the road. These roads have not seen asphalt for 30 years. All their propaganda is false. The whole story is fake. They call themselves a state - "the state of Artsakh." It went to hell. If it was a state, then why was nothing built? Because they know that this land is not theirs. This land is the land of Azerbaijanis. This is the liberated Khojavand district. This is the Hadrut district of the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region,' the head of state said.
