Erdogan and Putin held discussions on South Caucasus

Presidents of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation, Eurasia Diaryb reports APA. 

During the phone conversation, Mr. Erdogan welcomed Russia's steps to stabilize the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the gradual implementation of the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021.

Leaders of both countries have also exchanged their views on the restoration of transport infrastructure in the South Caucasus in a phone conversation held today. 

It is noted in the information disseminated by the Kremlin that the leaders have noted that activation of the work regarding the restoration of the transport infrastructure in the South Caucasus is important.
