'The statement, signed on the night of November 9-10, clearly states that communication should be established between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Was this communication established? No. The opening of such communication does not take much time. The total length of the road is only 40 kilometres. In the year after the war, we built more than 1,000 kilometres of roads, both unpaved and asphalt. The construction of a 40-kilometer road is not a big problem. But despite this, Armenia does not give its consent. The negotiations are inconclusive. That is, Armenia grossly violates the terms of the statement of November 10.'
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this in an interview with the Turkish Anadolu agency.
'For the time being, we are patient. Although our patience also has limits. The second Karabakh war demonstrated what happens when our patience runs out. Therefore, we give Armenia a chance to fulfil all the conditions of the November 10 statement and act responsibly,' said the head of the Azerbaijani state.
