OSCE fully shares the view on the need for long-term peace in the South Caucasus and supports the development of relations between the countries of the region, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde said in her opening speech at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the organisation's member states in Stockholm, Azeri Daily reports.
Ann Linde specified that there are still unresolved issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the relevance of which is evidenced by incidents on the border of the countries.
'The OSCE supports the ways of establishing long-term peace in the South Caucasus. We also believe that the three countries of the region -- Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia -- have great potential for the development of relations, and my special representative is ready to contribute to this development, subject to the interest of the parties,' said Linde.
