Azerbaijani ambassador responds to Armenian MPs of Iranian parliament

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Alizadeh commented on the protest by two members of the Iranian parliament of Armenian origin against that the sound of Azan recited in Shusha mosque and on the line of contact was heard in Khankendi, APA reports citing ambassador's Twitter account.

"Two members of the Iranian parliament of Armenian origin were concerned that the sound of Azan in Shusha mosque and on the contact line was heard in Khankendi, and called it psychological pressure.

I hope that religious scholars will explain to them the sanctity of the Azan and to whom Khankendi belongs, ”the ambassador wrote.
