Russia's continuation of the war against Ukraine does not weaken the other side, on the contrary, it makes it possible to look at the future with more hope. US officials are of the same opinion. Even in recent days, there are opinions that Ukraine can take back Crimea.
Ukrainian political analyst Vadim Tryukhan made a statement to Ednews about the latest processes. He especially justified the positive approach of the United States regarding Crimea.
"First of all everyone must clearly understand, that Ukraine and Russia are not equal parts of this war at all. Russia is aggressor that is trying to kill as many Ukrainians as it can and totally destroy Ukraine as independent sovereign state. Ukraine is victim which just want to save lives of its citizens and stay independent sovereign state in internationally recognized borders. Our partners, including US, understand this obvious difference. That’s why they have chosen the side of Good but not side of Evil. Besides that, according to the last opinion polls, 73% of Americans support the decision to back up Ukraine by supplying all necessary weapons.
Regarding the timetable of realizing temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, it is up to Chief Commander, President Zekenskyi to decide, together with general Valerii Zaluzhnyi and other members of Military Cabinet of the Chief Commander. The only thing is clear that this will be definitely done as soon as situation allows."
At the same time, the expert spoke about the Iranian intelligence drones "Mohajer-6" seized by the Ukrainian army. He said that after the war, Iran should be demanded to pay compensation.
"The Ukrainian army destroys Iranian and Russian drones in the air almost every day, and captures some of them. According to the last count, more than 1,000 enemy drones have been neutralized so far. 15 drones were destroyed yesterday alone. At the same time, some of them achieve their targets, majority of which are civilian houses and other civilian infrastructure. Ukraine is not going to tolerate this situation. Ambassador of Iran credentials were immediately withdrawn after reviewing information about this deal. In my opinion diplomatic relations will also be terminated soon. Besides, Ukraine should seek compensation from Iran, after victory. Even after the victory, Iran shall be demanded to pay compensation. This also includes other partner countries that support Russia."
V.Tryukhan also expressed his opinion about the prediction of victory.
"It depends on two major factors. First of all, on the quality and quantity of the weapons that our partners and allies supply to Ukraine. As of now the trends are positive. Secondly, on the internal situation in Russia itself. Despite the severe and aggressive propaganda, ordinary Russians start to wake up. There are many protest against mobilization and war with Ukraine. They are still not that powerful to stop Putin and his regime and push them to resign. But everything can quickly change. Apart from that, Ukrainian army liberate temporary occupied territories every day. Russians have huge loses, - more than 60000 soldiers and officers, including 11 generals are killed, 15 military ships were sunk in the Bleak Sea including missile cruiser “Moskva” (first time after Second World War such kind), about 500 military aircrafts and helicopters, more then 5000 armored personnel vehicles, about 2500 tanks ets.
No one army during last 77 years had such losses for such short period of time. So, Russia will be totally defeated. As soon as it is possible. This aggressive state that has broken international low and threatening international community to use nuclear weapons does not deserve to have this kind of state on the territory which it controls right now. It should be demilitarized, denazified, and decentralized. Ukraine, together with our partners and allies, and with Azerbaijan, we hope, will work on accomplishing of these task as long as it is needed."
