The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan condemned the armed attack on the synagogue in Israel, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Twitter, Ednews reports.

"We strongly condemn the terrorist attack at the Synagogue in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in Jerusalem. We express our condolences to the family of killed and wish a quick recovery for injured," the Azerbaijani MFA said.

Note that 8 people died and 10 were injured during an armed attack on a synagogue in the city of Jerusalem, Israel.

The Israeli police called the incident a terrorist act.
