Georgia is ready to mediate between Azerbaijan and Armenia as an unbiased and neutral negotiator, said Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia during his speech at a ceremony to lay the foundation stone for a new building of the Tbilisi State Azerbaijan Drama Theatre named after Heydar Aliyev held in Tbilisi, Ednews reports.
“My government is ready to participate in the establishment of long-term peace in the region,” the Prime Minister added.
Mr Garibashvili said that the theater building was built within the framework of the 100th jubilee of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev, and this demonstrates the fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
