A joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils will be held on November 22 in Minsk, spokesperson for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Aibek Smadiyarov said at a briefing, Ednews informs referring to Kazakh media.
The Kazakh delegation will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister - Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu, Security Council Secretary Gizat Nurdauletov and Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov.
“During the meeting, an exchange of views on the military-political situation in the CSTO collective security regions and the activities of the Organization in the intersessional period is planned,” Smadiyarov noted.
It is expected that the participants of the meeting in Minsk will make decisions on various issues of development of the collective security system, adopt a number of political statements, and also approve draft documents that will be submitted for consideration to the heads of state during the session of the Collective Security Council.
