As we reported, on December 20, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on awarding a group of people who have contributed to the development of sports in Azerbaijan.
Ednews informs that according to the Order, 1 person was awarded the "Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and 17 people were awarded the "Progress" medal. In addition, for their special services and high professionalism in the development of sports in Azerbaijan, 3 people were awarded the honorary title of "Honored physical education and sportsman".
Also, 4 people were awarded individual scholarships of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for their long-term effective activities in the development of sports in the country. 29 representatives of the sports community were given apartments.
