Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Saturday discussed the war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Sweden's NATO accession process, the Turkish Ministry said, Ednews reports.
Blinken held some two hours of talks with Fidan in Istanbul.
"At the meeting, Ministers discussed the war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Sweden's NATO accession process, bilateral and regional issues," the Turkish Foreign Ministry noted.
In addition, Minister Fidan stated that Türkiye is waiting for the finalization of the F-16 purchasing process.
During the meeting, the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, regional issues such as Syria and Iraq were also discussed.
