On February 16, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan had a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien as per the latter’s request within the framework of the Munich Security Conference (MSC), Ednews reports.
It was noted that during the meeting, the issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda between the two countries, as well as the prospects of a normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia on a bilateral basis were discussed.
Regarding the draft peace agreement, the ongoing claims against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan in the Constitution of Armenia, legislative acts, international organizations and courts were once again reminded and the importance of giving up these claims was emphasized.
