“We sincerely rejoice at Azerbaijan’s historic victory and the restoration of sovereignty over the entire territory of the country,” President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the first meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on March 11 in Baku, Ednews informs referring to the Akorda website.
“We held a detailed discussion of literally all issues related to our trade, economic, investment cooperation, interaction in the international arena and came to general conclusions. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are in fact strategic partners, allied states. The prospects are very good, given the understanding that governments will implement the deals that will be reached today in the form of signed documents and agreements,” Tokayev noted.
