The final round of Europe League will be held in Baku tonight which makes the fans of Chelsea and Arsenal to visit Baku from all over the world. Two tourists from the United Kingdom, Terry Morsman and Ann Dyball were to the office of International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF).
The president of IEPF Umud Mirzayev informed them about the Azerbaijani culture and history. They watched on the stand on the wall of the building of the organization where the picture showing the occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and the life of people in war-affected regions.
Tourists got information about the damages of the war in Azerbaijan which left ten thousands dead and millions refugee and IDP. However, Azerbaijan has been succesfull to provide basic needs to these people.
"The best thing about Baku is having friendly people. You can't see the same in other cities of the world," they told to Eurasia Diary while sharing their impressions about Baku.
Ann Dyball considered Azerbaijanis as rich people who own safe and high-level architectural buildings. "I havent's seen anybody begging, or selling small things in the streets," Dyball said about obivous rich view of the city.
Terry Morsman said he was impressed by delicious cuisine of Azerbaijan. They also noted that they acquired a visa very easily.
During their trip in Baku, tourists visited Old city and Fountains Square. "Azerbaijan has a huge potential because here is safe and clean," Ann Dybal thinks.
"In the UK, so few people know about Azerbaijan. People just know that Baku is capital and that's all. When I return back, I will recommend my friends to visit here," Dyball told.
Turkish Airlines will open new flight to Baku in October which will make it easier to visit Azerbaijan, Terry Morrison emphasized.
Tourists will stay in Baku for two days more and they are sure to see more amazing places in the city.
