Restrictions on entry and exit at the state border of Azerbaijan will be extended until May 31, 2020.
EDNews.net reports that the operative headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers has issued a statement in this regard.
It was noted that the world is currently working to combat a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
As part of the measures taken, most countries have suspended international flights, deciding to impose temporary restrictions on entry and exit at their borders.
The global situation with the COVID-19 pandemic has been analyzed, and in order to prevent the spread of the virus in the country, the restriction on land and air access to the territory of Azerbaijan, except for cargo and charter flights, has been extended until May 31, 2020.
