The following trainings were organized at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics within the project of "Social Activity and Development of Students in Educational Institutions". 87 students participated in the trainings.
Noting that at the beginning of the project, in the meetings with students of a number of universities, who applied to the IEPF and were involved by us, issues that will help solve their interests and problems were selected as topics for the training phase.
According to Ednews, the presentations "Writing and managing projects” and "What to do if job opportunities are limited?" held at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics by Umud Mirzayev, the President of the IEPF, author of a number of international projects, well-known journalist and the presentation of "Project writing and management" ran by Khudaverdi Quliyev attracted students' interests.
They were instructed on how to build their careers, where to start first, how to determine where they can go, and how to study the labour market. Students were taught what is the formation of a project document, budget planning, the rules of writing local and international projects. They were trained in project management and time allocation, implementation plan, project evaluation criteria and accountability, risks that may arise in the implementation process and their management. Important areas on both topics were the main priorities of the trainings. The aim is to improve students' social activities, increase their awareness and involve them in community service by understanding social responsibility.
It should be noted that the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions" implemented by the International Eurasia Press Fund, winner of the grant competition "Support to Public Initiatives for the Development of Education" announced by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, continues successfully.
To date, 38 trainings have been conducted for 622 students within the project.
