Heidi Kuhn, founder and CEO of Roots of Peace, a humanitarian non-profit organisation has been to Napa Valley in Croatia to pay a visit to her colleagues, a legendary winegrower Mike Grgrivh and his daughter Violet Grgrich.
According to Ednews, Heidi has posted information about her recent visit on her facebook page. She says Mike had joined her in 2000 for a benevolent visit to Croatia following the Balkan Wars. Heidi added that there were yet 1.2 million landmines when they visited those places.
"However, today Croatia has become one of the favourite tourist destinations in the world, as a result of their co-work in raising funds with CROMAC to eradicate landmines and restore vineyards and orchards in Vukovar, Ilok, Dragalic, Ciste Male, Ciste Velika, Karlovac, Bibijne, and Bastica."
